Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect information in our mobile games, VR games and this website.
1. Who we are
FS Gamez is the game studio brand of Faisal Sharif, an individual developer based in Pakistan (“FS Gamez”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We make mobile games for the Apple App Store and Google Play, and virtual reality (VR) games for platforms such as Meta Quest, Steam/SteamVR and Pico.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to all of our games and apps (the “Games”) and to this website (together, the “Services”). An individual Game may show an extra in-game notice with details specific to that Game; that notice forms part of this policy.
We act as the data controller for the information described here. For any privacy question, contact us at faisalsharif24@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. Most of our Games can be played without creating an account, and we do not ask for your real name, home address or phone number to play.
Information collected automatically
- Device information– device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, screen size and app version.
- Identifiers– an app-specific player ID, installation ID, and (only where permitted, see Section 5) your device’s advertising ID such as Apple’s IDFA or Google’s Advertising ID.
- Approximate location– country or region derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
- Gameplay and usage data– levels reached, scores, session length, settings, in-game events, and which ads were shown or clicked.
- Diagnostic data– crash logs, error reports and performance data.
Information you or a platform give us
- Account information– if you choose to sign in with Google, Apple, Meta, Steam or another platform, we receive the basic profile the platform shares, such as a user ID, display name and avatar. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your email address.
- Purchase information– when you buy something in a Game, the store (Apple, Google, Meta, Steam or Pico) processes the payment. We receive only a transaction record (item, price, currency, time and receipt) so we can deliver the item. We never receive or store your card or bank details.
- Player content and communications– usernames, text chat messages, voice chat audio in multiplayer Games, reports you send us about other players, and messages you send to our support email.
- Website information– if you use the contact or game submission forms on this website, we receive your name, email address, studio name and whatever you include in your message or submission.
VR sensor data
VR Games need data from your headset to work: head and controller position, your play-area (Guardian/boundary) size, and, in Games that support them, hand tracking, eye tracking and microphone input. See Section 4 for how we treat this data.
3. How we use information
- To run the Games, save your progress and deliver items you buy.
- To provide online features such as leaderboards, achievements, cloud saves, multiplayer matchmaking and chat.
- To show advertising that keeps our free Games free, and to measure how well ads perform.
- To understand how players use the Games, fix bugs and crashes, and improve balance, difficulty and performance.
- To keep the Services safe: prevent cheating, fraud and abuse, moderate chat, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- To reply to support requests, publishing enquiries and legal requests.
- To comply with the law and with app store rules.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar laws)
If you are in a region that requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on:
- Contract– to provide the Game and the items you buy.
- Legitimate interests– for security, anti-cheat, crash reporting, basic analytics and contextual (non-personalised) ads.
- Consent– for personalised advertising, optional analytics, microphone access and any other use where we ask you first. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation– to keep tax records and respond to lawful requests.
4. VR, microphone and sensor data
Hand tracking, eye tracking and body-movement data are used only in real time on your device to make the Game work. We do not store this raw data on our servers, sell it, or use it for advertising.
- Head, controller and hand trackingare used to render the scene and let you interact with it. In multiplayer Games, a simplified version of your avatar’s position and pose is sent to other players in the same session so they can see you; it is not kept after the session.
- Eye tracking (where supported, such as Meta Quest Pro) is used only for features like foveated rendering or eye-driven interaction. It is off unless you enable it in your headset settings and the Game asks for permission.
- Play-area / boundary data is read from your headset to keep you inside your safe space. We do not access camera images of your room.
- Microphone is used only for voice chat or voice features, and only after you grant permission. Voice audio is streamed to other players through our voice provider (such as Unity Vivox) and is not recorded by us, except that a short clip may be captured if you or another player report abuse, so we can review it.
The headset maker (Meta, Valve, Pico) also collects data under its own privacy policy. We do not control that collection.
5. Advertising and your choices
Many of our mobile Games are free and supported by ads delivered by the partners listed in Section 7. These partners may collect device identifiers, IP address and ad-interaction data to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, prevent ad fraud and measure results.
- iPhone and iPad:we ask for permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before using your IDFA for tracking. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised using your IDFA. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings › Google › Ads (or Settings › Privacy › Ads).
- EEA, UK and Switzerland:we show a consent message (using a Google-certified consent platform) before any personalised ads or optional analytics. You can change your choice later from the Game’s settings or privacy menu.
- US states with privacy laws:you can opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising through the Game’s privacy settings or by emailing us. We honour Global Privacy Control signals on this website.
- Remove ads:where offered, a “Remove Ads” purchase stops interstitial and banner ads.
VR Games are generally sold as paid titles and do not show third-party ads unless clearly stated on the store page.
6. Children’s privacy
Some of our Games are made for a general audience that may include children. We take extra care with players under 13 (or the higher age of digital consent in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EU).
- Age check: Games that may appeal to children ask for your age in a neutral way before collecting any personal information.
- If you are under 13 (or under the age of consent where you live): we turn off personalised ads and ad tracking, show only contextual ads from providers certified for families, turn off text and voice chat, and do not let you create an account or set a public username. We only collect the limited technical data needed to run the Game (such as a random player ID for saving progress and crash reports).
- Games listed in the Google Play “Teacher Approved” / Families program or the Apple App Store Kids category follow those programs’ stricter rules, including no third-party analytics or advertising that tracks children.
- Meta Quest and other VR headsets have their own minimum age and parent-managed account rules. Children should only use VR with an account set up by a parent and under adult supervision.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described above. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, email faisalsharif24@gmail.com. We will verify your request and delete the information. Parents can also review or ask us to stop further collection of their child’s information. We comply with the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code and the GDPR rules for children.
8. How long we keep information
- Game progress and account data– for as long as you keep playing, and deleted within 90 days after you ask us to delete it, or after 24 months with no activity.
- Analytics data– usually kept for up to 14 months, then deleted or made anonymous.
- Crash reports– up to 90 days.
- Chat reports and moderation records– up to 12 months.
- Purchase records– as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Support and publishing emails– up to 3 years, unless we enter into an agreement with you.
9. Security and international transfers
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls and trusted cloud providers. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We are based in Pakistanand our partners operate servers around the world, including in the United States and the European Union. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our partners.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- object to or limit certain processing, including direct marketing;
- withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect earlier processing);
- receive your data in a portable format;
- opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and targeted advertising (for example under the California CCPA/CPRA);
- complain to your local data protection authority (for example in the EU or UK).
We will not treat you differently for using these rights. To use them, email faisalsharif24@gmail.comand include the Game name and your player ID (usually shown in the Game’s settings). We may ask for more information to confirm the request is really from you. We aim to reply within 30 days.
11. How to delete your data
You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time:
- In the Game: where available, open Settings › Privacy › Delete account / data.
- By email: send a message to faisalsharif24@gmail.comwith the subject “Data deletion request”, the Game name, your platform (iOS, Android, Meta Quest, Steam, Pico) and your player ID if you have it.
We will delete your progress, account details, chat history and analytics linked to your player ID within 30 days of confirming your request, and from backups within 90 days. We may keep purchase records required by law and information needed to prevent fraud or comply with legal obligations.
Deleting your data cannot be undone, and you will lose your progress and any virtual items. Uninstalling a Game alone does not delete data stored on our servers. Purchases made through an app store stay in your store account and may be restored later.
12. This website and cookies
This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, such as a secure login cookie for our own administrators. We do not use advertising cookies on this website. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security for a short period.
If we add analytics to the website in the future, we will update this section and ask for consent where the law requires it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our Games, partners or the law change. We will change the “Last updated” date above, and for important changes we will tell you in the Game or on this website. If the law requires your consent to a change, we will ask for it.
